My Wellbeing at Rent the Runway's 2018 Project Entrepreneur

This month, our founder and CEO Alyssa was chosen to be one of 200 female entrepreneurs in Rent the Runway's 2018 Project Entrepreneur venture competition! The two-day Project Entrepreneur (PE) Intensive will take place in New York City from April 13-14, 2018, and will include in-depth workshops taught by the best women entrepreneurs and investors in a variety of industries, designed to give badass women entrepreneurs tools to scale their businesses.

Be daring and be yourself. Assume you deserve a spot at the table, because you do. Not because you are the prettiest, or the most perfect, but because you are strong, you believe in an idea that has promise, and you have hustle. And you’ll get there. Even if not this specific time, or this specific opportunity... you’ll get there.
— Alyssa Petersel, Founder and CEO of My Wellbeing

This is an exciting opportunity for My Wellbeing. Since the program's start,  PE participants have raised over $10 million in venture funding for their startups, and, if she is chosen as a finalist, this competition can propel Alyssa into a pitch for a $10,000 grant and a spot in the program's five-week Rent the Runway-hosted accelerator program.

Alyssa will be participating alongside fellow NYU Summer Launchpad alum and businesswomen Estee Goldschmidt of ShopDrop and and Lia Winograd of Pepper. Together, they plan to take the world of female entrepreneurship by storm.

Following their acceptance, NYU's Entrepreneurs Blog interviewed Alyssa, Estee, and Lia about PE and female entrepreneurship. "Assume you deserve a spot at the table," Alyssa shares, "because you do. Not because you are the prettiest, or the most perfect, but because you are strong, you believe in an idea that has promise, and you have hustle. And you'll get there. Even if not this specific time, or this specific opportunity... you'll get there."
